Acceleracer Project
Micro RC Car controlled by the Nokia N95

Anyway, no matter how sleepy I am I just can’t resist to introduce a brand new accelerometer based project.

First of all it is more than obviously that author has been inspired by the ShakerRacer Project that uses the Nokia N95 and its accelerometer to control the RC car by moving the phone.

Also the ShakerRacer team has released the source code along with some documentation few weeks ago and I guess that now when the source is available we can expect even more applications and projects based on the ShakerRacer to come.

The main idea behind the Acceleracer is to create a RC Control for a micro RC Car which will allow turning and accelerating car by tilting the phone. The client application on the Nokia N95 is written in Python same as shake racer.

The C-Control Chip is programmed using a Special C-Control BASIC software and Interprets the signals the mobile sends to the Laptop via Bluetooth. The Laptop only parses the data from the virtual Bluetooth port to the COM1 where
