FCC Approves and Confirms
North American Version of the Nokia N85!

According to documents that appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission's Web site, Nokia has received regulatory approval to start selling its recently leaked cheaper variant of (I guess) the Nokia N96 which is also known as Nokia N85.
Such approval is required before a wireless device can be sold to consumers in the United States and if nothing else FCC approval is always a good sign that phone is on the way and indicates that it will be released for US markets soon.
Unfortunately links to Nokia N85's FCC document are broken or pages have been removed so there are no blurry photos and draft version of the user manual as usually.
Will try later to locate these pages if they are still exist on FFC servers and keep you informed of course.
So, FCC pages reveals nothing new about Nokia N85 but everything is already well known, we got bunch of photos and xml profiles for both version of the Nokia N85 and I have to say once again that I am not impressed
Actually I am disappointed with another not very creative product from Nokia and another Nseries phone equipped with outdated QVGA screen. Phone is packed in the cloned N96 dual sliding body with the not so popular Nokia N81 like finishing and case made of a cheap feeling and creaky plastic.
The Nokia N85 it is a quad band GSM (850, 900, 1800 and 1900) and support for 3G networks in the 850Mhz, 1900Mhz, and 2100Mhz frequency spectrum.
