Shocked today! According to Alexa.com, Yahoo, World’s Top site till few months back, has dropped to No 4 yesterday. Facebook has made it to No 2 while Youtube takes the place of No 3.

Yahoo’s three month average position is 2, week’s average is 3 and yesterday’s is 4. The diagram below shows how the ranking changed between the three sites.

Google.com maintains the No 1 Rank consistently for more than 3 months now. Here is how Facebook climbed from 4 to 2, Google from 2 to 1, and Yahoo came down from 1 to 4 in less than a year.

Is this showing the end of Yahoo? Will Yahoo become another AOL or will be regain its lost glory? Will have to wait and watch.
