T-Mobile USA CTO Cole Brodman shed some more light on T-Mobile's affection for all things Android at yesterday's GigaOM Mobilize conference in San Francisco. Brodman said that Android was the first operating system that truly delivered on the concept of an open platform for the wireless industry. He said that carriers needed to "evolve" toward a more open, Web-based environment. However, he also acknowledged some of the limitations of Android, most notably getting users to find applications easily in the Android Market.
