Steam gaming client for Mac finally came out of beta and is now available for free download from the Steam website. With this Apple Mac users will be able to enjoy huge number of game titles that will eventually become available to them, and to celebrate the launch of Stem client for Mac, Steam is giving away free download of PORTAL game to anyone downloading their Client on Mac OS X until May 24th.

With Steam released for Mac, gamers can now purchase their games online and can play it either on Windows PC or on Mac with their single Steam ID. At launch there are already 60+ titles ready for download that you can enjoy on your Mac. Steam has also announced that it will be releasing a new set of games compatible with Mac every Wednesday for the next few weeks.
